How do I price my service?

VanLife Connect gives you flexibility in how you price your services depending on the type of work you offer.

You can choose:

• Fixed Price
Set a clear upfront price for the service. The Traveller pays your listed amount once the booking is confirmed. This works well for simple or standardised jobs with predictable pricing.

• Request a Quote
If pricing depends on the job details, materials, timing or complexity, you can discuss the requirements with the Traveller first and agree on a custom price before confirming the booking.

When setting your price, consider:
• Your experience and skill level
• Travel distance and time required
• Any tools, equipment or materials provided
• Local demand and competition
• Whether the service requires licences or qualifications

If you are GST registered, your listed price should include GST.

VanLife Connect keeps pricing simple:
• Travellers pay your listed price
• VanLife Connect charges a 10% commission on completed bookings
• Stripe processing fees are deducted automatically at payout
• Funds are deposited directly into your nominated bank account through Stripe
