Stripe processing fees are charged when a payment is made and cannot be reversed.
In general:
- completed jobs → Provider pays
- Traveller cancellations or no-shows → Traveller pays
- Provider cancellations or no-shows → Provider pays
- Disputes → the losing party pays
- Platform technical faults → VanLife Connect pays
